Report: Spencer Sanders To Miss Cowboys’ Game against Iowa State

Spencer Sanders will miss his second straight game, according to Brett McMurphy.

Sanders, Oklahoma State’s quarterback, left the Cowboys’ Oct. 29 game against Kansas State with an apparent shoulder injury and didn’t play in OSU’s loss to Kansas last weekend. Sanders has been banged up since the Cowboys game against TCU on Oct. 15.

Who starts in Sanders’ place is now the question.

When Sanders left the game in Manhattan, Gunnar Gundy came in and went 2-for-7 with 16 passing yards, 27 rushing yards and an interception. A redshirt freshman out of Stillwater, Gunnar is OSU coach Mike Gundy’s son.
