Oklahoma State football will be without quarterback Hauss Hejny for an extended period of time.
On Friday, Brett McMurphy of On3 reported that Hejny is scheduled to undergo surgery after suffering a broken left foot Thursday night in the Cowboys’ 27-7 win against UT Martin. McMurphy said Hejny is “expected to miss at least five weeks.”
Hejny played the first three drives of OSU’s season opener and went 5-of-10 passing for 96 yards and a touchdown. He also recorded 27 rushing yards and a touchdown on the ground before leaving the game due to “lower extremities,” the Cowboy Radio Network said.
