Oklahoma State could open with two weekday games in 2017. First, with Tulsa on a Thursday night in August at Boone Pickens Stadium. Then against South Alabama on a Friday the very next week.
The Oklahoma State-Tulsa season opener is expected to be moved to Thursday, Aug. 31, for television purposes. The Cowboys and Golden Hurricane are scheduled to open the season Sept. 2, but multiple sources said the game will be moved.
And if OSU-Tulsa is moved to Thursday night, OSU’s next game, scheduled for Sept. 9 at South Alabama, is expected to be moved to Friday night, Sept.
