Report: Oklahoma State expected to hire North Texas' Eric Morris as next football coach

Oklahoma State has found its next football coach.

The school announced Tuesday that it has hired North Texas coach Eric Morris, making Morris the 25th football coach in OSU history. ESPN had the news first.

"Today begins the next era of Oklahoma State Football," OSU athletic director Chad Weiberg said in a release. "I am thrilled to introduce Eric Morris, his wife Maggie and their boys Jack and George to the OSU family. Coach Morris has proven his ability to build and lead winning football programs. He has consistently identified, recruited, and devloped some of the best players in college football.
