Friday afternoon, Adam Klug, executive producer of the Doug Gottlieb show on CBS, tweeted former OSU point guard Doug Gottlieb will not be the Oklahoma State men’s basketball team’s next head coach.

Gottlieb, played at OSU from 1988-2000 under coach Eddie Sutton, who endorsed Gottlieb for the position in March 2016. Gottlieb finished his Cowboy career as the school’s all-time assists leader before moving on to a broadcasting career with ESPN, CBS and now FOX.
