Report: Ferron Flavors Jr. remains committed to OSU basketball despite NCAA penalties

STILLWATER — Count Ferron Flavors Jr. among players sticking to his Oklahoma State pledge.

The former Cal Baptist sharpshooter told Stadium.com that he remains committed to joining the Cowboys for the upcoming season as a graduate transfer despite the NCAA’s one-year postseason ban dealt Friday.

The 6-foot-3, 190-pound guard averaged 13.5 points per game last season, leading the Western Athletic Conference in 3-pointers made per game (2.93) and 3-point percentage (42.7).

Flavors is the second player to publicly confirm his intention to remain with OSU. Incoming freshman Donovan Williams told The Oklahoman on Friday that he remains committed to the team, at least for now.
