Eric Morris more than doubled his North Texas salary, but in terms of the Big 12 landscape, the Cowboys seem to have gotten a good deal.
Morris is set to make $3.8 million annually on a five-year contract as Oklahoma State’s football coach, according to The Oklahoman’s Scott Wright. The contract has a $100,000 annual raise each Feb. 1 and expires Jan. 31, 2031.
According to the USA Today coaching salary database, Morris made $1.4 million this year as North Texas’ head coach, meaning he doubled his salary and then got another million on top of that.
