The Cowboys have added a linebacker from within the conference.
Tate Romney has committed to Oklahoma State, according to 247Sports’ Matt Zenitz. Romney has spent the past three seasons at Arizona State after starting his college career at BYU. He should have one year of eligibility remaining.
Listed at 6-foot-2, 225 pounds, Romney has made 70 tackles in his three years in Tempe, including two tackles for loss and a sack. He was a starter for the Sun Devils as a redshirt freshman in 2023, but a broken arm kept him out for much of the beginning of the 2024 season.
