Mike Boynton is making some updates to his coaching staff entering the 2023-24 season.
Oklahoma State on Tuesday announced Terrence Rencher is being promoted to associate head coach. Meanwhile, Scott Sutton and James Barrett have been promoted to assistant coach roles. The extra assistant coaches are made possible by a recent NCAA ruling allowing for two additional assistants who may engage in coaching activities outside of recruiting.
Boynton is also adding Nelson Hernandez as the program’s Director of Player Development, a role that was left open after Keiton Page was promoted to an assistant spot.
