Oklahoma State basketball legend Bryant “Big Country” Reeves will be inducted into the Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame, the Hall announced Tuesday.
He will be inducted in a ceremony Aug. 14 at the Riverwind Showplace Theatre.
Reeves is one of the best big men to play for OSU. He was a three-time All-American and won the Big Eight Most Valuable Player award and the Big Eight Tournament MVP in 1995. Reeves helped lead the Cowboys to the Final Four in Seattle that season, taking down Tim Duncan-led Wake Forest and Marcus Camby-led Massachusetts in the tournament.
Reeves ranks second in Cowboy history in scoring (2,367 points) and rebounding (1,152).
