Freshman forward Yor Anei continued his great year this afternoon as the Cowboys were able to get a 85-77 win against the Mountaineers and avoid last place in the Big 12.

Anei would finish the last regular season game with eight blocks and 16 points. With that he would break the single game block record for a freshman. On top of that he had six boards.

He would be one of five cowboys that would finish with double-digit points. This is the first time that’s happened since November 22. Lindy Waters would finish with 19, Thomas Dizagwa would finish with 15, Cam McGriff and Curtis Jones would add 14 and 13 respectively.
