STILLWATER — After a strong start in the season opener, the Cowboys faced an early high-major test on Sunday, one that both the Cowboys and their fans passed with flying colors.

Oklahoma State took it to Texas A&M, beating the SEC Aggies 87-63 in a game the Pokes led by as many as 28.

In front of a crowd of 7,501, OSU led just about wire to wire, leading for 37:55 of the game’s 40 minutes.

OSU’s scoring was spread fairly evenly with five players scoring at least 10 points, but it was a particular good day to have a surname of Coleman.
