The Cowboys had a 24 point lead in the second half but went cold for too long and gave it up to end up losing the game 66-64.

In the first half the Cowboys would come out quick and go up 7-0 before Charlotte’s Milos Supica would score 2 for their first points of the game. The Cowboys would end the half up 37-19, shooting 65 percent from beyond the arc. Thomas Dziagwa and Lindy Waters were each in double digit point totals to end the half with 12 points and 10 points respectively. All in all the first half was what you want to see from the first game of the year from a young team.
