The Cowboys have a new coach, and that coach has proven to be elite at scouting and developing the sport’s most important position: quarterback.
Oklahoma State announced the hiring of North Texas coach Eric Morris on Tuesday. Morris’ North Texas offense currently leads the country in points per game (46.3) and total offense (503.3 yards per game). A lot of that has to do with the passing attack Morris has developed throughout his coaching career, and a lot of it also has to do with his eye for talent at the position.
