Tom Hutton, believed to be the the oldest player in the FBS this season, announced Tuesday his college career is over.
Hutton went down in the fourth quarter of Oklahoma State’s 48-0 loss to Kansas State this past weekend after trying to make a tackle. He made his announcement via Instagram. Hutton has another year of eligibility because of COVID, but at 32, he has said on many occasions he doesn’t intend on using it.
Hutton leads the Big 12 with 18 punts downed inside the 20-yard line, and he leads the league with 1,929 punt yards.
