They have recruited that direction, though without much success. Remember, Akolda Manyang was supposed to have an impact in there and it never really materialized. I think it'll be interesting to watch Hannes Polla's development, though this will be a critical off-season for him. He's got the frame to be effective, but his hands need work. That's definitely a perplexing area for the Sooners. I'd say their biggest need right now, though, would be at point guard. They've got to have someone ready to step in for Trae Young assuming he leaves for the NBA (which they're planning on happening).
