Oklahoma State is starting a new era of football.
On Tuesday, the school fired coach Mike Gundy after 21 seasons, ending his tenure as the face of the Cowboys’ program. Now, OSU will need to hire a football coach for the first time since 2005.
Here are potential candidates for the Cowboys.
Collin Klein, Texas A&M offensive coordinator
Klein, 36, seems on his way to becoming a head coach in college football in the near future.
A former Kansas State quarterback, Klein also spent the 2022 and 2023 seasons calling plays for the Wildcats and is in his second season calling the offense at Texas A&M.
