Play of the game: OSU stopped ASU fourth-down attempt, flipped field for offense

Coming off three quarters of inconsistent offense, OSU needed to find a spark in the fourth quarter to secure its second win of the season.

The defensive unit understood the assignment late in the fourth quarter and helped generate a big stop to give the OSU’s offense the chance it needed to extend the lead.

On fourth-and-2 from the ASU 33, and trailing 20-15 with 6:03 remaining, the Sun Devils were forced to go for it to maintain possession and a chance to retake the lead. The Cowboys forced an incomplete pass and gave the offense the ball back deep in ASU territory.
