Going into the halftime break, the Big 12 opener for Oklahoma State was looking as if it could be close with Baylor.
OSU finished the second quarter strong by scoring a field goal to make it a one possession game at 28-20 and then continuing to hold Baylor’s offense on one last drive to end the half that resulted in a missed 53-yard field goal for the Bears.
The game was looking competitive with a first half defined by high-powered offense. The Cowboys had been trailing for most of the game, but they were able to keep it within a single score most of the time, with the highest Baylor lead being 11.
