The University of Oklahoma has dismissed freshman quarterback Chris Robison for a violation of team rules, new head coach Lincoln Riley announced on Wednesday night.
Robison was a four-star prospect in OU’s top-10 2017 recruiting class and arrived on the Norman campus in January as an early enrollee. He was offered a scholarship by Oklahoma State during the recruiting process along with many other Division I programs but ultimately chose OU and stuck with his early commitment.
Details have yet to be released on Robison’s dismissal, but it is worth noting that Robison was arrested for public intoxication back in April.
