OU basketball can tie for third place in the Big 12 standings with a victory over Texas on Tuesday night, and the No. 3 seed in the Big 12 Tournament is quite achievable.
Texas Tech lost to Baylor on Monday night, leaving the Red Raiders with a 9-8 record in the conference. The OU-Texas winner will be 9-8 and tied with Tech.
OU closes out the regular season Saturday at TCU. Texas hosts OSU on that day, and Tech hosts Kansas.
