One of the premier high school wrestling tournaments of the year took place this weekend in Ohio, and three future Cowboys won their respective brackets.
Michael White (190), Jayden Raney (132) and Jordyn Raney (144) all won at Ironman. Class of 2026 signee Luke Hamiti (175) took sixth, while Class of 2027 commit Ignacio Villasenor (126) finished fourth.
White pledged to the Pokes in August, flipping his commitment from Minnesota to do so. He hasn’t been wrestling long relative to his competition, just starting as a high school freshman.
He was the 6 seed in the 190-pound bracket.
