Within a matter of seconds Wyatt Sheets brought Gallagher-Iba Arena to its feet.
In just his fifth dual match of the season since stepping in at 157 pounds, Sheets, a redshirt freshman on the Oklahoma State wrestling team, defeated No. 16 Josh Humphreys with a sudden victory takedown on his team’s way to a 27-6 victory against No. 20 Lehigh.
Sheets was taken down within the last five seconds of the third period after leading 5-3, which sent the match to overtime. Less than 30 seconds into it, Sheets took down Humphreys, which caused an eruption of cheers from the Cowboy fans.
