Jax Forrest’s ridiculously impressive freestyle stretch continues.
An Oklahoma State wrestling commit, Forrest will wrestle for U23 World gold on Monday in Serbia. That final comes after Forrest teched his way through three matches on Sunday.
Forrest’s tournament started against Moldova’s Vasile Marcu, who the Cowboy commit beat 13-0. Forrest faced Ukraine’s Mykyta Abramov in the quarters, swiftly winning 10-0.
Quick math: Forrest outscored those first two opponents 23-0 and neither match got out of the first period.
He matched up with Japan’s Akito Mukaida in the semis, and while Mukaida was able to put some points on the board, the end result was the same.
