STILLWATER — Oklahoma State will host Abilene Christian at 7 p.m. Thursday in the first round of the WNIT, it was announced late Monday.
The Cowgirls (17-14, 6-12 Big 12) ended their season with a quarterfinal loss to Texas, 71-60, in the conference tournament, but managed to win four of their last seven games. Junior center Kaylee Jensen was also named first-team All-Big 12 by league coaches.
Abilene Christian (22-8, 16-2 Southland) was a co-conference regular season champions. It's the program's second consecutive WNIT berth. Three players earned All-Southland conference honors this year — senior forward Suzzy Dimba (first-team, all-defensive team), senior guard Alexis Mason (second-team) and senior forward Lizzy Dimba (third-team).
