In-state defensive end Collin Clay will make his college commitment this evening, where all signs point to him picking the Razorbacks over OSU, Oregon, Georgia and TCU. The latest sign: He’s expected to visit Arkansas on Friday, just one day after his commitment.
So either he’ll make the trek for Arkansas’ “Woo Pignic” on Friday as a new Arkansas commit, or … things could be extremely awkward. I would speculate that the former is more likely than the latter.
Clay’s imminent Arkansas commitment shouldn’t come as a huge surprise, as we’ve heard for weeks that he was leaning heavily in favor of the Razorbacks as he draws closer to the end of his recruitment.
