Oklahoma State President Burns Hargis has responded to the OSU football players' concerns.
"I hear and respect the concerns expressed by our Black student-athletes," Hargis said. "This is a time for unity of purpose to confront racial inequities and injustice. We will not tolerate insensitive behavior by anyone at Oklahoma State.”
Hargis' statement is in response to tweets made by OSU football players-- such as running back Chuba Hubbard-- about Mike Gundy's decision to wear a One America News-- a far-right news station-- t-shirt on a recent fishing trip.
