After the recent hiring of Ball State associate head coach Lou Gudino who has 28 years of experience coaching basketball at the collegiate level, Oklahoma State men’s basketball has added a new assistant coach to the staff.
Former St. Bonaventure men’s basketball assistant coach, Dana Valentine, is joining the Cowboys for the 2025-26 season – reported first by Jeff Goodman of Field of 68.
Valentine started his coaching career at Putnam Science Academy, a prep school in Connecticut. In two seasons there, he was a part of back-to-back prep national championships as the team went 38-0 in 2021-22 and 39-3 in 2022-23.
