AUSTIN, Texas — Although it's not always clear in the box score, it's apparent senior forward Mitchell Solomon is the player who most drives Oklahoma State's success. Coach Mike Boynton is trying to find better ways to take advantage of that.
In the Cowboys' 65-64 loss to Texas on Saturday, Boynton was able to bench Solomon before he picked up any fouls, a rarity for most of the season. OSU outscored the Longhorns by 10 when Solomon was on the floor, behind only Jeffrey Carroll for the best plus-minus among Cowboys.
