Mike Boynton and his coaching staff are squarely in the mix to potentially come on top in a heated recruiting battle for four-star big man Brandon Garrison. Garrison, a 6-foot-9 center from Del City, Oklahoma, made an official visit to OSU two weeks ago and apparently came away impressed, with Rivals’ Travis Graf predicting he lands with the Pokes earlier this week.
Garrison has offers from OSU, Kansas, Arkansas, LSU and several others, but the Pokes may have a hidden advantage here through Team USA. You might recall Boynton is an assistant on Team USA’s U18 team this summer for Mexico?
