Stillwater could turn into Kingfisher Northeast before too long.
Mike Boynton offered Kingfisher High standouts Bijan Cortes and Matthew Stone, the pair tweeted out Sunday. Cortes and Stone are both class of 2021 and won a 4A state championship together this past season as sophomores.
Cortes, listed at 6-foot-1, 160 pounds on his recruiting profile, is a shifty guard. Through change of pace, he gets to the rim with frequency. Although he might not be the strongest or jump the highest, he plays composed and looks in control much more often than not.
