STILLWATER — Just more than 10 minutes had ticked off the game clock before the call came over the ESPN broadcast Saturday afternoon from Boone Pickens Stadium.
“It’s intercepted at the 8-yard-line by Harvell-Peel!” ESPN’s Mark Jones exclaimed.
The screams of joy eventually subsided at GiGi and PawPaw’s house down in College Station, Texas, but the smiles lasted long afterward.
Back inside Boone Pickens Stadium, Katie Harvell was smiling, too. Because of work, and travel for her younger son’s high school basketball endeavors, last Saturday’s win over TCU was her first time in attendance at an Oklahoma State game this season.
