STILLWATER — The man behind much of Oklahoma State football's uniform revitalization has accepted a new role within the athletic department.
Matt Davis, an OSU alum and longtime director of football equipment operations, has been hired as the athletic department's facilities manager, per GoPokes.com. Davis has worked closely with Nike through multiple rebrands of the Cowboy football team's uniforms. He also works on the radio broadcast for OSU baseball games on KGFY-FM 105.5 in Stillwater. Davis said on Twitter he will continue that role moving forward.
The football program celebrated his new gig with a surprise party that included, of course, a football helmet shaped cake.
