HOUSTON — Oklahoma State offensive coordinator Sean Gleeson was named in multiple reports out of New Jersey earlier this month as a candidate for the offensive coordinator job at Rutgers under new head coach Greg Schiano.
Following the 24-21 loss to Texas A&M in the Texas Bowl on Friday night, Gleeson kept his focus on his current job when asked about the Rutgers rumors.
“If the amount of time that I spent in that locker room with the kids is any indication, you know I’m with these guys right now,” Gleeson said. “I want to reward these seniors for all the hard work that they've provided this program and talk about the promise of this team going into the future.
