Spencer Sanders, QB, Denton Ryan (Texas)
After a slow first quarter, quarterback Spencer Sanders and Denton Ryan brushed past Fort Worth Brewer 42-17 in the Texas Class 5A playoffs. On paper, Sanders had one of his worst passing games of the season. He finished the game going 15-of-26 with 186 yards and a .577 completion percentage. Sanders passed for five more yards than he did against Braswell, which was his lowest passing total. However, Sanders did throw two great touchdowns from 40 and 50 yards.
