STILLWATER — Mike Gundy crossed paths with offensive tackle Teven Jenkins in a weight room full of Oklahoma State football players, and the coach asked Jenkins a question.
Gundy wanted to know if Jenkins could name the only player in the weight room who the coach believed was worth $40 million.
“He looks at me like I was trying to give him a haircut or something,” Gundy said.
Jenkins couldn’t come up with the answer.
“You,” Gundy told him, “if you decide to work really hard. You decide to say, ‘You know what, I’m gonna do it,’ then you’re the guy.
