MORGANTOWN, W.Va. -- As was expected, OSU head coach Mike Gundy and Cowboy backs coach Jason McEndoo stayed behind Friday afternoon when the team’s charter flight left Stillwater.
Both with sons playing on the Stillwater High team that had a Class 6A-II state semifinal game Friday night in Yukon, Gundy and McEndoo took a private flight that got them to West Virginia around 1:30 a.m.
And they had a couple of extra guests, with the radio crew of Dave Hunziker and John Holcomb calling the OSU men’s basketball game Friday night, then meeting the coaches at the airport.
