STILLWATER — A year after going barechested during Oklahoma State's Homecoming & Hoops pep rally, coach Mike Gundy again removed a piece of clothing inside Gallagher-Iba Arena.
As OSU students chanted "Take it off!" Gundy removed his black hoody to reveal a No. 12 throwback jersey matching those the Cowboys will wear during Saturday's homecoming game against Texas to honor the 30th anniversary of Barry Sanders winning the 1988 Heisman Trophy.
Gundy, OSU's 1988 quarterback, stood at the center of Eddie Sutton Court with the War Pigs — the Cowboys' offensive line that season — as well as deep snapper Sam Walkingstick, defensive tackle Trey Carter, safety Malcolm Rodriguez, running back Justice Hill and receiver Tylan Wallace.
