STILLWATER — Marcus Arroyo spent the Fourth of July last year on the Yampa River, methodically casting a dry fly in hopes of landing pink-and-silver painted native trout in Steamboat Springs, Colo., water.
The summer getaway was a needed reprieve from the time demands of an Oklahoma State assistant coach. So, he hopped in the boat with his wife, Kelly, and their 2-year-old daughter. The fish were calling. Fall camp could wait.
Then again, a good recruiter doesn't have an offseason.
Arroyo posted a photo to his Instagram account that same day, smiling in a bright orange long-sleeved shirt, holding a pristine 23-inch Rainbow.
