STILLWATER - Oklahoma State’s fourth-quarter issues during Saturday’s 45-27 loss to No. 18 Baylor made it easy to overlook the first half.
The Cowboys’ defense was mostly strong.
Baylor was held to 213 yards and nine first downs. It was 1 of 4 on third down and allowed four sacks. It also had one big turnover.
Linebacker Malcolm Rodriguez stripped and recovered the football from Baylor running back JaMycal Hasty in the first quarter. Baylor led 7-6 at the time and was driving to increase the lead.
But Rodriguez wasn’t talking about that after the game.
