OSU football loses second commitment in two days, per reports

STILLWATER — Oklahoma State football recruiting took another hit on Monday.

Kolbe Fields, a linebacker from Archbishop Rummel in New Orleans, has decommitted from the Cowboys, according to multiple online reports Monday night. He becomes the second player in as many days to back off his commitment to OSU, following junior offensive lineman Kelvin Banks’ announcement on Sunday.

The 6-foot-1, 210-pound Fields did not respond to a message from The Oklahoman seeking comment. He was the first player to commit to the Cowboys in the 2021 recruiting class.

His departure leaves OSU with 10 commitments in the class, and no true linebackers.
