STILLWATER — Oklahoma State running back LD Brown took the handoff as he ran left into a Baylor defender.
Brown had no time to chop his feet, no time to think or no time to go toward the sideline. His only reaction was to fight through the tackle and avoid another Baylor defender closing in.
“That’s all she wrote after that,” Brown said.
One day after turning 22, Brown found a way to celebrate — with his best performance of the season. It started with a few plays he nearly broke free. It ended with a 68-yard sprint to the end zone.
