OSU football: Kicker Ben Grogan becomes Cowboys' all-time career scorer

LAWRENCE, Kan. — Oklahoma State kicker Ben Grogan hit the 32-yard field goal and saw the colored poster board in the stands.

They read, "CONGRATS BEN!" AND "371".

In OSU's 44-20 victory against Kansas, Grogan's second quarter kick gave him the program record for career points, breaking a 2010 mark held by Dan Bailey (370). Grogan discussed the feat postgame in an interview with The Oklahoman.

Q. How does this record compare to big individual kicks you've made through the years?

A. I guess it's a little bit different. This is more like a long marathon kind of achievement, where as a big kick is kind of in the moment.
