CORVALLIS, Ore. — Sean Gleeson will never forget his first game as Oklahoma State’s offensive coordinator — for all the reasons you think, and one you might not.
Gleeson missed the Cowboys’ first possession of the third quarter, a touchdown drive that helped them to a 52-36 win over Oregon State Friday night at Reser Stadium.
He and several Oklahoma State assistants were stuck in the elevator that stopped while taking the coaches back to the press box after halftime.
“Of all of the first game things, I think getting stuck in an elevator for the first time as a coach is what I’m gonna remember about this one,” Gleeson said.
