STILLWATER — Tylan Wallace has had the best three-game stretch by an Oklahoma State sophomore receiver since his predecessor.
Wallace posted his third straight 100-yard receiving game Saturday against Texas Tech, becoming the first Cowboy sophomore to do so since 2015, when James Washington, who Wallace backed up last season, achieved the feat. Saturday, Wallace hit 109 yards in the first half alone, continuing a connection with quarterback Taylor Cornelius that was seen often through nonconference play.
Wallace had 166 receiving yards against South Alabama and 105 last week against Boise State, emerging as the Cowboys' top receiving threat as they try to replace Washington, the 2017 Biletnikoff Award winner, as well as Marcell Ateman and Chris Lacy.
