OSU football journal: RB Jahmyl Jeter getting more involved in practice

STILLWATER -- As a redshirting freshman and scout-team player, Jahmyl Jeter spent most of the year watching Oklahoma State's four-headed running back monster do its work.

But with Justice Hill deciding to leave early for the NFL, and J.D. King transferring, Jeter has ascended the depth chart to the point that he's getting some work with the third-team offense during bowl practices.

“He went the wrong way most of the time,” OSU coach Mike Gundy joked after Tuesday evening's practice. “We put him in there with the threes, and let him run in there, and they tackled him a bunch, and he realized that he wasn't redshirting anymore.
