OSU football journal: James Washington becomes school's ninth unanimous All-American

Oklahoma State wide receiver James Washington became the ninth unanimous All-American in school history on Wednesday with his inclusion as a first-team selection on the American Football Coaches Association FBS All-America Team.

Cowboy quarterback Mason Rudolph and safety Tre Flowers were second-team AFCA selections.

OSU's previous unanimous All-Americans are Bob Fenimore (1945), Terry Miller (1977), Leslie O'Neal (1985), Barry Sanders (1988), Alonzo Mayes (1997), Russell Okung (2009) and Justin Blackmon (2010 and 2011).

Washington, the recipient of the Biletnikoff Award presented to the nation's top receiver, finished the regular season with 69 catches for 1,423 yards and 12 touchdowns.
