STILLWATER — Oklahoma State defensive coordinator Jim Knowles could see as many as four true freshmen working their way onto the field this season.
Knowles likes what he sees from cornerback Thomas Harper, linebackers Na’drian Dizadare and Kamryn Farrar, and defensive tackle Jayden Jernigan.
Three of them — Harper, Dizadare and Jernigan — were early enrollees who had the advantage of going through spring practice with the Cowboys.
“They missed their senior prom, so I feel bad for them,” Knowles said. “But we’re glad to have them.
“It was a big benefit for them and for us to have them here in the spring.
