OSU football: Devin Harper and his family thrilled for game in home state of Tennessee

STILLWATER — The Liberty Bowl will provide a unique first and a long-anticipated last for the Harper family.

Oklahoma State linebacker Devin Harper, a redshirt sophomore, will get to play his first college football game in his home state of Tennessee when the Cowboys face Missouri at 2:45 p.m. on New Year's Eve in Memphis.

His younger brother, Thomas, will be watching the Cowboys from the stands for the last time on Monday. A 5-foot-11, 165-pound do-it-all star for Karns High School in Knoxville signed his letter of intent with OSU and will be on campus in January.
