OSU football: Cowboys add versatile recruit Rashod Owens

STILLWATER — Oklahoma State’s recruiting efforts landed 200 pounds of pure athlete late Monday night.

Rashod Owens, a 6-foot-2, 200-pound prospect out of San Antonio’s Roosevelt High School, announced his commitment to the Cowboys with a highlight video on Twitter.

The only question is, what position will he play?

Owens had over 1,500 yards as a running back this past season, but regularly lined up as a receiver as well.

His Twitter video didn’t provide an answer, showing game highlights of him as a running back, with feature video of him doing receiver drills.

After his junior year of high school, he was named by the San Antonio Express News as the boys athlete of the year in the area.
